Italy
This is
truly "A Unique and Romantic City". You will be floating on air in this magical
"Floating City". A gondola trip along the Grand Canal offers dramatic sights of
palaces and churches, some gothic, others Romanesque or Renaissance with walls
plunging directly into canals!! Be amazed by the wealth of architectural treasures
along back water canals and on the quaint little piazzas.
If your thing
is art or opera, this is truly a city you will never forget. It is built on more
than 100 islands, 150 canals, and 400 bridges. Wait for this. It is also sinking
at the rate of 2 inches per decade. So, while you will be able to get married
here, it may pass that your children or grandchildren may not! | |
